Meet Brenda Myers
Brenda Myers is the President/Founder of Entrepreneurs Academy 101, which is an online program for aspiring or beginner entrepreneurs. She is the Founder of Entrepreneurs Academy 101 Foundation, which is a non-profit organization created to introduce high school students to entrepreneurship. She is the CEO and Founder of Journey Insurance Solutions, LLC which is certified by the Mississippi Minority Business Enterprise as a minority and woman-owned business. She is a Financial Broker licensed to do business in Mississippi, Tennessee, Louisiana and Texas. She is also the owner of Boss Babe Lady Boss Store which is an online store for female entrepreneurs.
Her studies include Jackson State University, Tulane College and Harvard Business School Entrepreneur Essential.
Brenda is an International #1 Amazon Bestselling Author. who has written three books and participated in an anthology for female entrepreneurs. She is a member of Women for Progress of MS, Inc., an organization that promotes cultural advancement and economic development while empowering women through Women's Business & Entrepreneur's Network, a member of The National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, and a member of Power to Exhale Central Mississippi Chapter, which is an organization that promotes female empowerment and community service.
Brenda received the 2023 Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award from President Joe Biden for her work in philanthropy and community service. She has been named one of the Top 50 Women Empowering Women. She has been featured on several radio show, television programs and podcasts. She has also been featured in New York Weekly Publication, Woman to Woman the Magazine, Called2Inspire Magazine, Power Conversations Magazine, and Our Mississippi Magazine. She is a motivational speaker and has served as keynote speaker on several programs and served on panels and platforms such as Level Up Summit, The Power Up Summit, Comeback Champion Summit and the MS DECA annual conference (which is an organization that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe), where she was invited to speak to students about entrepreneurship and leadership. She believes in giving back to the community by working with organizations such Power to Exhale and the Dr. Martin Luther King Salute to Greatness causes.
